Let’s Talk Warmth
Aakar Panchal, Founder
I started Yantrakar with a simple idea, everyday objects should make moments feel better.
What began as an obsession with keeping tea warmer for longer slowly became years of experimentation with ceramics, heat retention, materials, and craftsmanship. Today, Yantrakar is being built as a premium ceramics brand focused on creating products that preserve warmth, comfort, and experience.
Every product we create is designed with intention, not only to function beautifully, but to become part of slower mornings, focused work sessions, and meaningful routines.
We are only getting started.
The Journey Before Yantrakar
Before Yantrakar ceramics, there were experiments.
My first project was a limited art piece called the Slow Motion Dancing Frame an optical illusion artwork built using synchronized frequencies, light, and electromagnetic oscillations. When a lightweight object was attached to the frame, it appeared to move in slow motion, almost as if time itself had slowed down.
Only 25 pieces were ever made and sold.
That project sparked something bigger a deep fascination with engineering experiences, not just products.
From there, I entered the world of 3D design and 3D printing. I began designing and prototyping sculptural lamps, eventually creating and selling designs like Glofy and Terra. Those years taught me form, structure, balance, materials, proportions, and how objects emotionally interact with space and light.
Today, that same design knowledge shapes the engineering behind the Volcano Mug.
But ceramics proved to be a completely different challenge.
Designing a functional double-wall ceramic mug was far more difficult than expected. Over the next three years came endless iterations, failed prototypes, cracked pieces, structural issues, firing experiments, and material testing.
What looks simple today carries years of unseen learning behind it.
Yantrakar is not a product made overnight.
It is the result of curiosity, engineering, art, experimentation, and persistence slowly refined over years into something meant to be used every day.
